New; The Labyrinth (Prayer walk)

$35.00

11 X 17 Hand Signed and Numbered by Karl.

A prayer path I took up as a teen when I was first studying Buddhism and lived in a towering Pine forest planted by the New Deal in the 30s. As I cleared the lower dead branches the symmetric rhythms and geometry I found deeply moved me. There I set up a walk and did my prayers as I did. Only later did I find I was doing a Labyrinth. There is no right or wrong way to walk a labyrinth... no set pace. Just follow the path in your own time. Walking (or following in your own way) a labyrinth can lead to deeper relationships, a stronger sense of community, a feeling of being on a spiritual journey, a sense of inner reflection and connection to sources of guidance, a sense of living in the present, greater creativity, and stress reduction.

Finger labyrinths like this one, can be used for prayerful reflection when it is not possible to walk a full-sized labyrinth.
